Trying to restore a backup from my former host that went offline. I'm dropping it into the softaculous_backups folder, but nothing is showing up when I try to restore.

My username is the same -- but my directory is different (home2/username in backup vs home/username in new host). Does that matter?

Or what else should I try?

Hi,

Does the backupinfo file exist ?

The backup info file is in the :
/home/USERNAME/.softaculous/backups/

Also since the path is changed the restore will not work.

If you can open a support ticket with us we can help you make the required changes to the backup file.

Also if your domain is accessible at the old host then you can import the installation from that server to the new server using our Remote Import utility :
