 Softaculous throwing 404 page not found ISPConfig 3.2 on Debian (5 Replies, Read 11633 times)

I installed using the quick install method. Sofatculous is already appearing on tools menu, but clicking on it leads to 404 not found.

My server configuration is (Debian Buster) ISPConfig 3.2.7p1

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Can you please restart your webserver i.e. Apache and check if you still face the issue ?

Hi Brijesh. Thanks for a prompt response.

I restarted. The 404 disappeared and I got a blank page. Hence, I followed this tutorial - http://www.softaculous.com/docs/admin/installing-softaculous-in-ispconfig/#common-issue

It took me a step further and now I am getting an error - SOAP Error: The login failed. Username or password wrong.

The string "extension=soap.so" is already there in the /usr/local/softaculous/php.ini, if it matters.

I am also opening a ticket right away.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

I checked your ticket and found the below details. Adding it for reference if any other user faces similar issue :

It seems the remote user (created in ISPConfig) credentials were invalid.

You can reset the password of the remote user and update the credentials in the below file :
/usr/local/softaculous/remote

I had quick look at my password in remote and it looked Ok , but I decided to reset any way - all working sorry for unnecessary post
