Hope in future you can add an option in the admin panel to activate email notification for new update available in System Apps.
As you see today has been fixed a security Issue now all user should update OpenSSL to version openssl-1.0.1t but if your site is running well and you don't need to log in into the panel you will be not notified about updates, for this reason should be an alert via email of sure should can be disabled from that user don't want it... but is important to let the user know they should update System App, more important maybe or same as the Script update. Webuzo send an email alert if some script are upgradable, this should implemented also in System App. ----------------------- PeopleInside
