Hello,

I would like to remove directory or folder name on URL like example below.

http://www.example.com/~soft/index.php

"soft" is a directory or folder by default during setup Webuzo, but it also display on URL that I don't want.  I already searched forum and can't find any solutions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

"soft" is your username in this case.

You can simply access the URL as
http://example.com/index.php and it should work smooth.

Could you explain in detail what exactly you are trying to achieve to help us assist you better and faster ?

Thank you and you are correct about "soft" is username.

It seems like works fine when you access direct URL like
http://www.example.com

However, all links returned from social network would also included username on URL like
http://www.example.com/~soft/index.php/component/zoo/item/hp-probook-4530s-37

I just wanted display a normal URL like
http://www.example.com/index.php/component/zoo/item/hp-probook-4530s-37

Without username (soft) on URL

It happened to all backlinks from social network (Facebook, Twitter, Google+)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
