This is brand new install of virtualizor and WHMCS module.  Latest WHMCS.  I can hit the callback file manually and I know that is all set up properly.  I have callback enabled on the master.  Usually it does not work but sometimes it does.  Sometimes there is a delay of several minutes before it works.  How do I troubleshoot something like this?  There are no errors in any logs.

I am quite sure it's all configured correctly since it does work sometimes.  But usually it doesn't.

I should also point out that the master is also a SolusVM master as I am using the procedure to export SolusVM settings to Virtualizor.  Perhaps there is some conflict with callback by having SolusVM running on the same server.  I don't think there should be as it is push issue and not a listening issue.

I can watch on the WHMCS server using tcpdump and the callback is never received.  I also watched on the virtualizor master and the callback is not being sent, except when it is sometimes.  Most of my callback testing has been changing hostname.  Yes I have that feature checked in the callback settings on master.  I also tried suspend/unsuspend and also have those features checked.\

WHMCS requres https so that is what I am using in the callback url.  I also tried setting the callback to http but that did not help.

Lastly, I do not have any iptables or selinux enabled.  There is definitely nothing blocking the ports on either end.  As stated, I have tcpdump running on the master and on WHMCS and the problem is that the callback is usually not sent from the master.  When it is then WHMCS receives it and behaves as expected.  So the problem is definitely on the virtualizor master and not the WHMCS server.

My problem appears to be similar to this problem.

https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=14338

It sometimes changes when I change it directly on Virtualizor logged in as root.  However, it never changes when I change it from WHMCS as a user/owner of the VPS.

To clarify, the callback sometimes works when I change hostname or do some other callback function from Virtualizor control panel logged in as root.  However, the callback never works when I do it from WHMCS.

The actual operation works from WHMCS and Virtualizor.  So I can change the hostname, suspend/unsuspend etc from WHMCS and Virtualizor.  However, the callback itself only works sometimes and only when I do it from Virtualizor logged in as root.  It never seems to work when I do it from WHMCS module as a user of the VPS.

Can someone get back to me on this?  I am evaluating Virtualizor for a switch from SolusVM and this is a deal breaker for me if I cannot get callback working.

Hi,

It never seems to work when I do it from WHMCS module as a user of the VPS.
>> Callback will only be used when a change is made on Virtualizor panel so that the changes get reflected on WHMCS panel.

When changing from WHMCS panel, it would not require callback to be in use.
If changes are not reflected on Virtualizor panel then we may need to check it.
