Topic : Restoring Backup

I ran a blog from 2016 to 2018. I couldn't continue after that. My website wasn't renewed and it got deleted. I am a noob when it comes to running a website. I honestly thought I had backed up my blog since I received numerous emails from softaculous saying that the automatic backup of my wordpress installation was completed successfully and that I can access the backup from the Backups Section in Softaculous.
Now after 3 years I have reactivated the domain and have been looking at all sorts of Youtube tutorials to restore backup. In the softaculous restore backup page there is no backup. I guess since my blog was inactive for years the backup also got deleted. I honestly was stupid enough to think that I could restore backup from that email as it had the backup pathway.
Still is there any way for me to restore my blog. I had a lot of content. I am totally heartbroken :'(

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

The backups are done in the hosting account by default so if your hosting account was not renewed and deleted then the backups were also deleted.

If you renewed your plan with the same web hosting provider they might have your backup but it is very unlikely they would have a backup 3 years old.
