We switch servers and wanted to know how to remove old installs of a Moodle app. I tried to remove all together but it says lost connection. I was wanting to remove the install and start with a fresh update.

It seems you are using remote.softaculous.com for your script installations.

You can remove the installation from just Softaculous records by using the following guide :

When you uncheck all the checkboxes on Remove Installation form it will just remove the installation from Softaculous records.

Once you have removed all the installation go to the domains page and update the FTP login details of your domain on the new server before you start installing new scripts.
