Topic : error installing php

Hello,

I have freshly installed webuzo where I can't install any version of php. I always get 'error installing dependency gettext' during installation of any php version.

Can you describe the installation process and say where installation logs can be found? Also is there any possible reason for this? This can bring some light on the issue and allow me to debug such issues myself.

After another re-installation issue gone, but my question "how to troubleshoot such error" is still present.

Please explain the process of the installation and explain how to troubleshoot such issues in future. Especially when we are talking about production servers which can't be re-installed easily.

It was probably because the gettext package was not downloaded completely on your server.

Quick fix would be to remove the partially downloaded package and install it over again.

Code
Root > rm -rf /var/softaculous/apps/gettext*
