Topic : Import From Remote Server - Error

Posted By: softbaby on December 15, 2019, 5:37 am
This problem happens very often.

Sometimes, it is ok but most times, not ok with the error msg: Unable to fetch path from the data received. (even for the same transferor-website).

Sometimes, there is no error msg but when i load the transferee-website, the database is missing.

fyi, the path of the transferor-website is /public_html/subdomain/website

I use two servers.
Both subscribe to Softaculous.
I want to move a php and mysql site from one server to another.

Is this easier because both servers use Softaculous? Is there knack or something I should google to find out how to do it?

The php and mysql site is a small, basic Thirtybees ecommerce site. My skills are more ecommerce and html than database, but I can learn simple tricks

Hi,

You can use the Remote Import feature to import the site from one server to another using FTP credentials :
