Softaculous

Topic : Use Softaculous without Cpanel, WHM, etc (commercial) interface?

Posted By: marketmultipliers on April 13, 2011, 3:02 pm
My provider, chunkhost, provides truly "bare bones" VPS images... all I get is a shell prompt, everything else I have to install directly.

As you can imagine, this means I don't have Cpanel, WHM, or other graphical "master interface".

But, I have installed Webmin and phpMyAdmin.

Is it possible to install and use Softaculous in this kind of environment?  (Or with some other open-source admin utility?)

Thanks...

Any progress on this one? I also run a Webmin/Virtualmin GPL servers and I'm dying to see Softaculous for this environment. :)
