Hi guys! Is it possible to uninstall tomcat from the server without danger of losing the settings, or losing any data?

Thanks in advance for any answer!

Hi,

Run the following commands from your terminal.
Root> rm -rf /etc/init.d/tomcat
Root> rm -rf /usr/share/apache-tomcat/
Root> rm -rf /home/USER/webapps/

Note : Java applications installed if any will be removed completely.

I dont think it's a proper answer ..
what about
/usr/local/apps/tomcat ?

and
/home/rooty/webapp/manager
/home/rooty/webapp/host-manager

?

Also in the end-user dashboard .. there is a Tomcat icon ! :(

Hi tsvetanakos,

We recommend you to install or uninstall any app from the webuzo panel, because we also handle app dependency.

if you have any query, please contact us "https://webuzo.com/contact/"
