 BuddyPress does not recommend WP trough Softaculous?, Why does BP not recommend WP trough Softaculous? (4 Replies, Read 4238 times)

Hello,

We got some customers asking why they should not install WP with Softaculous, because BuddyPress does not recommend it.
Could you shed some light over that and maybee contact BuddyPress about that?

"WordPress should be installed manually i.e. via FTP, cpanel, etc. and NOT via webhost scripts (fantastico, softalicious, etc.)which bring about numerous issues when BuddyPress is activated."
