I have several VMs created that the current kernel is outdated.  I run update-grub but on boot it only sees the original kernel from the KVM image.  How can I update the booting kernel.
I have updated menu.lst and grub.cnf but it still boots the original kernel.

Hi,

is the kernel updated?
update-grub command won't  update kernel.
Run ' yum update ' command to update the kernel.
