Topic : Where do updates come from?

Hi, my host is Lunarpages and I loaded my Drupal script through Softiculous in my cpanel there.

I don't seem to be getting updates lately and I am wondering where they come from; do they come through Softiculous? If so what is the IP Address? I think I may have blocked it while blocking thousands to stop spam.

Hi,

The updates are fetched from Softaculous servers once every 24 hours. There could be two reasons why the updates are not being downloaded on your servers :

1. Either "Auto Update Scripts" is disabled on your server, if you have root access to the server please enable this setting from Softaculous Admin panel -> Settings. Or if you do not have root access you could ask your host to do that for you.

2. Your server is blocking our IP. Please whitelist the following IPs :
api.softaculous.com (IP : 216.18.221.243)
s1.softaculous.com (IP : 108.61.84.171)
s2.softaculous.com (IP : 23.29.77.179)
s3.softaculous.com (IP : 142.4.49.46)
s4.softaculous.com (IP : 188.138.10.177)
