Softaculous

Topic : Wrong Software Installed

My hosting company has Softaculous included. I am trying to install WordPress on a new subdomain that I created. I select WordPress and do a basic install. The progress meter shows that it has completed but when I use the admin link the page that loads shows Joomla not WordPress.

Here are some screen shots. The first shows that Softaculous indicates that WordPress is installed. The second is the page that loads when I go to the URL.

Are you still facing the issue ?

Maybe the domain is pointing to another server ?

It seems the problem came from my hosting company. They did the same thing I did and installed WordPress and claimed it worked for them. When I went to the test site I got the Joomla login screen and then a few days later, it suddenly was fixed. Very suspicious that my host fixed it and didn't let me know. I will be changing companies when my subscription runs out. Thank you for responding.
