Which PHP version you are using ?
Did you make any changes in php configuration ? Can you try to click on Restore Default Configuration and then Restart Apache and see if you still face the issue ?
Ampps control panel --> Php --> Restore default configuration.
Also try to create PHP file inside your Ampps/www folder.
Put this code in the file: <?php phpinfo(); ?>
save it as test.php,start Ampps, open your web browser and access localhost/test.php and check your php is working or not.
