Topic : Staging/Cloning never exceeds 95%

I used to use softaculous to create staging environments and push them live for quite a while. Out of a sudden, it now never exceeds 95% during the progress. Quite few files are copied to the staging directory with no particular error message or failure notice. It can run for hours doing nothing.
