Topic : Increase field width in localhost directory pages

Hi.First post here. I've created a WP site for local use only and I'm using the localhost directory pages to be able to view or open resources files such as ebooks and audio/video files. I can link to local files and folders using aliases from Wordpress but the resulting name field etc for directories is truncated. So two questions:1. Can I increase the table column width for each field. The html source shows that the names are truncated by ...> I don't know where these file are generated.2. Sadly I can't post a picture due to forum rules, so I think i should clarify what i mean by the directory or file names are truncated.

I'm not referring to Wordpress, I'm referring to the localhost pages served by Ampps. Just as if you went to localhost and viewed the page served by Ampps which displays name, last modified, size, description. I would like to increase the field (Table column) size and ideally customize the CSS as well. Being a noob to Ampps I don't know how these files are generated and a text search within files returned nothing except 1 reference to the gt (greater than) in an apache text file

I really hope they change it back. Honestly, some of the ideas of reddit developers just seem... not smart. Another example is putting a line break after most (but not all) pastes.
