I am wondering what I need to do to get support? In the past 3 days I have sent a request twice to the email address listed on the site, and have received no reply to either of them.

A few people seem to have the same issue ...  :squi:

I love this script ... I've installed it on a DEV box, and been playing with it/customizing it for a couple days now ...

But if it takes an extended length of time to get support, it may be the deal-breaker, and I will leave my 30+ boxes using Installatron ... their support is 2-3 hours usually.

Since you asked ...  :P

the ability to totally brand it could be easier ...

since the only person who's going to see YOUR branding is the person who has already bought the license ... I think it should be easier for NOCs to completely brand the installer to their own company ... (including footers, admin header, webpage titles, etc ... the ability to change all references to softaculous)

I think this would be a great selling feature too!

We do have branding option like changing the logo and putting the webhost name.
But certain features like ratings,reviews and demos depend on the Softaculous website.

I know the features you have implemented already, but for instance, if I want to call my installer ONE- CLICK, I need to dig into the hooks in the script to be able to change the Softaculous Script Auto Installer text in my panel ...  and the footer still says Softaculous too ...

I am merely suggesting that giving that control over to the NOCs that buy the licenses, is always popular with hosting companies, and might make you a few more sales.

My point was that since the website visitors (of the sites using Softaculous) do not interact with the control panel and the Softaculous software, all the branding you have done on it is really a moot point, and that allowing/facilitating easy white label branding, might get you a few more NOC sales ...

I cannot tell you how to market your product, but IMHO allowing total white label transparency (excluding the demo server) would be popular with many hosting companies, who will spend a lot more monthly on licenses than a few single license users will ....

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestions sir.
We will be trying to make it into a 100% rebrandable product.
Your views are right and we will add this over a period of time.
Since we coded Softaculous (the name itself) in so many places, a single update everywhere will be difficult.
