Topic : Sitepad settings user access

Posted By: bearmatt on July 25, 2017, 10:20 am
A user in the wheel group cannot access the WHM>Sitepad settings. It seems as though you have to login as root user, yet there is no other cpanel plugin that require this.
"Only root has access to this section !"
Please confirm ?

Hi,

At the moment the settings page is only accessible by root user.

We will make the changes to allow wheel user to access the admin panel soon.

Thank you for bringing this to our notice.

and its working on my client side but I cant access the settings in WHM.
I get -Only root has access to this section.

Ronscott,
You need to login into whm as root user.
You probably wont need to change the settings anyway - as you mention it is working fine on your cpanel client accounts.

Hi Ronscott,

We have replied to your ticket.

Are you trying to access SitePad using reseller account or its an additional root user?

I am surprised this feature still not active. Wheel users still not able to access settings in WHM >> plugins .
Is there any ETA to enable this feature ?
