I have Wordpress installed by Softaculous. Using the Softaculous Backup function, I can backup the database with no problem: the archive can be extracted from a downloaded copy. However, when I backup the directory and download I get "Invalid Archive" error on unzipping. This occurs even if I download the backup via ftp, so it is not an error introduced by the browser, the error must already be in the backup file on the server. The directory backup zipped tar.gz is ~ 17MB. When uncompressed to .tar it is ~ 44 MB. It is the .tar that will not open.

I have tried fixing the .tar archive. This gives:
end-of-central-directory header not found
extra 4086784 bytes at beginning of Zip file

The FIXED output file will not open: can't read header. I have tried backing up several times, always with the same result. Backing up database and directory together gives the same error.

Hi,

Sir we tested this on our servers and the backups are not corrupted.
It seems there is some file in your directory which is causing this issue. Can you please open a support with the test account details we will check it for you.
