OpenLiteSpeed: Install now - How to Update Later? (2 Replies, Read 647 times)

I have installed OpenLiteSpeed via script and via Webuzo in my testing as a new Webuzo user on my unmanaged VPS. After rebuilding the VPS several times while updating my configuration guide, I noticed there was a newer version to OpenLiteSpeed. On looking over the OpenLiteSpeed site, they strongly recommend to upgrade OpenLiteSpeed using the same method as originally installed. So, if I used Webuzo to install it, I should wait until Webuzo presents and upgrade/update option. Or, if I installed it to my VPS via scripting to get it a source directly, I can choose to upgrade it any time using that same method.

So, with that said, does Webuzo ever offer an update to OpenLiteSpeed? I'm wanting to stay with the idea of easily installing it via Webuzo but, if there's no update paths in the future (or if too far in between), I'll need to go with the scripting method only and avoid Webuzo's app install of OpenLiteSpeed.

Any ideas or experience on this topic is greatly appreciated!
