got this message on softacoulous demo with this message:

Hello Softaculous developers,



It has come to my attention that your servers aren't secure. This is my notice to you to secure them.



Next time, I won't be so careful with your data. If I manage to access
your servers again, I assure you that an rm -rf /* will be executed.

It seems that many users of Softaculous think that I infiltrated the server via Softaculous. I can confirm that this is not the case. It was a vulnerability with one of the softwares hosted on the Softaculous demo server (Linux softdemos.com 2.6.18-194.8.1.el5.028stab070.5PAE #1 SMP Fri Sep 17 19:27:06 MSD 2010 i686 to be exact).

Softaculous itself is a very secure and stable product, so please, don't stop using it on my account.

By the way, I was joking about wiping the server. You think I'm stupid enough to do that? Nah.

I'm sorry for any temporary damage I may have caused. No hard feelings?

The server is being restored from the backups. Please let me assure you that your server was in no way compromised. The Demos run on our server and not your server.
Also there will be a newer Demos Server from Wednesday which will be much more secured.
