Greetings,

We are Virtualizor clients with 3 Node machines and We have big issue from several days and we can't find fix for this. We use Windows2012r2 OS template from official softaculous links and installed on VPS, make some changes like a installed applications and activate license on Windows VPS and from several days try to make OS template, but we can't. Firstly I used file storage type, but I changed to lvm thin type and I create OS template from VPS when OS is activated. When I try to create VPS or reinstall OS receive this error message:

"ERROR: There was an error while resizing the filesystem
There was an error while resizing the filesystem There was an error in creating the VPS. Click here to reinstall the Virtual Server"

We try everything, but isn't working.. Really we need this custom Windows-Server OS image. Everytime VPS is powered off when creating OS template.

Best regards,

Not sure if it is possible with thin provisioning, but at least you need to follow the steps outlined here:

Are you restoring?

I had some problems on windows templates restoring because only can restore on same machine ID, maybe this can be a bug, but I can restore to same machine ID no problem for me, when I try restoring or cloning to another one give me the same error as you mention together,
