First of all, good morning to everybody here

Just to anticipate, i would like to tell you that i have basic/intermediate knowledge of PHP + myphpadmin + mysql. I've a very poor knowledge of CSS but good of html and javascript. I've some reminiscence of ASP and Vbscript  (i used to programme a lot lot lot of time ago (about 15/20 years for asp, a bit recently for PHP)).

I need your help to better decide:

I would like to create a "social" site where :

1) a user can register (so there must be the user management)
2) a user can interact with other user connecting with them

Basically i would like to have a basic ready to use site (in PHP will be preferred, of course)

than i would like to have the availability to modify pages (and / or create new one) in PHP (of course i know i will have to study / refresh my programming knowledge)

i will try the create the interaction of my user creating by myselg the needed pages (in no kind of iteraction is still existing)

of course i've an hoster (SEE4U) , and he offer me softacolous + cpanel + mysql databases ready to use

can you suggest me the perefect site i can install to start with for my need ?

I don't know if wordpress will fit my need. or if i will need a crm (wich i don't know) or a site like joomla.

Please, help me to start. thanks.

Mario
