Topic : Member Page Access

Is there a way to create 'User' (Site Visitor) access and Roles to specific Pages and how do I do that?

Concept (Reference as per the Old Google sites):
On the Old Google Sites, I was able to grant users (Visitors) access to specific Pages, Like Edit or Read Only, Hidden etc.

Is there a way to do it on SitesPad?

Thanks

Hi,

Currently, SitePad does not have user-specific roles which can be assigned. As SitePad requires control panel to access the builder and since site created by SitePad is made using HMTL, CSS, and JS adding user-specific role will not be possible as it will require PHP, MySQL, and Ajax which will make website load slowly.

Do let us know if you need any other information.

Thank you very much for your response...

User-specific roles or Editing rights is not essential,...
Is there a way to simply have Viewing Permissions to specific Pages, and perhaps hide pages that they do not have viewing rights, or is the answer the same?

If not, could you guide me in the right direction?

Hi,

Not sure what you are looking for, but you can check the given documentation on Password Protect Pages.

I don't think this is what I am looking for. Also not sure how else to explain it.

I want to have a home page or pages that is viewable to everyone, and I also want pages that are accessible to members only, that none else can see unless they have access. I must be able to remove their access when required.

Hi,

Currently, there is no other way to restrict pages except password protect.

Do let us know if you have any other query.

Thank you very much for all your responses... I clearly paid for the wrong application for my Personal Page and for my Business as I can not dedicate a Page to any of my Visitors or Customers.

If only I had known that this was just a Basic / Limited application.
I will have to look elsewhere for something that offers more than simple Glamour.

Once again, Thank you.
