 MYSQL stopped woking after installing OWNCLOUD, MYSQL failure - installing any application (4 Replies, Read 6676 times)

Hi everyone,

found several post describing almost the same problem..

But everything mentioned there, did not help me sadly !

If you have a look at the MYSQL log, you will see that basic sql tables can not be reached.  Maybe there issoemthing basically missing in MYSQL ?

I already tried to do severeal fresh installations on AMPPS 2.2 (latest ), the failure remains. Only the database of the portal that I chose, "OWNCLOUD" is able to be found in phpmyadmin.  But checking the logs, this tells me that thisis onyl temporary !?

The next reboot of the system, everything is gone..  and MYSQL won´t start anymore.

seems like MYSQL in general is the problem here isn´t it !?

seems like many things went wrng with the MYSQL installaton of the latest AMPPS.


I will now try to do a clean reinstall of MYSQL only.


PS: MYSQL databases are hiden in phpmyadmin ! Could this be the problem !?  Tried to unhide these in the config, but didn´t help..

Access rights to the databases, even the builtin I already checked. that wasn´t the problem.

Hi,

okay surely will do !

I installed latest MYSQL additonally now, instaled owncloud then which worked now.

But to have it working right away withing your great ampps installer, would be even better ! didn´t have these problems with 2.1 before.. the upgrade from 21. to 2.2. also didn´twork for me.. apache and mysql not starting anymore..  so I had to go with a clean install of ampss 2.2.. 

Tried this on 2x windows 7 machines and finally a windows 8 machine, always ending up in the same bad result.
