I am trying to import an existing wordpress installation from one cPanel account to another. I am using an IP address to define the import location. I am able to connect to the server via my FTP client with no problems.

When I try to import via the Softaculous interface the install fails and returns the following error: Unable to fetch path from the data received
I have spent many hours over the weekend trying to get the external import feature to work with no luck. It is super-frustrating!
Does anyone have a solution to this problem.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

In order for Remote Import to work the domain should point to the old server.

Can you please confirm if the domain is pointing to the old server ?
