Topic : Password not recognized

Posted By: trust2connect_com on March 18, 2022, 3:47 pm
My AMPP install went well.

Now, when I try to start Apache, AMPP wants me to login again. BUT...it won't recognize my password.

I've changed my password twice, and I can login here, just fine. I've also cleared my cache.  :-x I'm out of tricks!

...help me please, Mr Wizard!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

I checked your ticket and I see that port 80 was already occupied by some other application, so apache was not running because apache uses port 80 by default.

You can check what process uses this port from console:
netstat -putna | grep 80
Then kill that process:
kill -9 pid
And try again.
