I have successfully installed ampps on my mac, everything workd pretty well. i just wanted to ask, i wasnt prompted to create a username and password for my database. mysql, do i have to create in a terminal???

username and password : root user for my database.

Hi,

You MySQL user and password are created by Softaculous itself, you can find the details in the config file of the installation.

If you just want to know the password of MySQL root user than it is "mysql"
