Problem with mysql "table xxxx doesn't exist", I am getting this error after updating from version 2.3 to 2.4 (3 Replies, Read 11735 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Hello, I updated my Ampps installation last week from version 2.3 to 2.4. After the update, all databases with innodb format appears at phpmyadmin, but when i click on the database, it tells me there are zero tables, though the tables exist. When I click on the table at the left pane, I get this error Quote table xxxx.xxxx doesn't exist (xxx.xxx is the table name) I looked at the mysql error log and this is what I got Quote InnoDB: Cannot open table new/wdg_content from the internal data dictionary of InnoDB though the .frm file for the table exists. All databases with myisam (with myd and myi) and other format displays with no problem. I have tried a whole lot of fixes but to no avail. If anyone has faced such a problem before, please help me with how you fixed it. I opened a support ticket about two days ago, but no reply as of now.
