Hi,

We have Softaculous and Softaculous Remote.
What are the limitations of Softaculous Remote compared to Softaculous ?

Does Can Softaculous Remote have all the capabilities of Softaculous (including scheduling backup/clone, restore and so on) ?

Then what is the advantage of Softaculous ? because we could have one Softaculous Remote on one server instead of x Softaculous on each server. There is something i miss here.

Hi,

Softaculous Remote installs apps over FTP and hence it is a bit slower as compared to Softaculous plugin which is installed on each server so it installs apps on the same server and is faster as compared to Softaculous Remote.

Softaculous Remote is recommended for hosts which use a custom control panel and Softaculous plugin is recommended for hosts using standard control panels in which Softaculous is integrated :
