Hello
Im testing out running a slave in my environment using the whmcs module.
I have been running the master for a couple of months now and not had any issues Ive decided to test out running a slave as I wanted to try spread it out a little.
So Ive installed the slave and been added to the master without any issues, I can manually create a vps on the slave (although Im having network issues but that I havent fully investigated yet (its due to the routing cmds not being issued from bootup).
I then tried to set the master to locked so I could try force new installs onto the slave however I get a error from whmcs module saying the server is locked for new vps's.
So my question basically is how do I force new vps's to install onto the slave or how can I control where its being installed to?

Many thanks

So I just saw on 2.6.9 this bugfix
21) [Bugfix] WHMCS would not create VMs if the master was locked. This is fixed now.

I tried unlocking the master, however I still got the cannot create vps on locked server.

I experimented and on slave config on master I set the max number of vps's to 5 for eg hoping it would force it over to slave but now I get.
Order Accept Encountered Problems
Errors : VPS creation limit exceeded

Hi,

Did you update the WHMCS module?

Also you can configure the WHMCS to choose the server for VPS creation, please read the guide under module settings please check slave server and server group.
Here is the link to the guide:
