I need to create a blog soon, which platform is the best between wordpress and blogger? What are the advantages and disadvantages of them?

| Wordpress is better because it can rank in search engines quickly and you can get a lot of traffic through that. |

Wordpress is a simple, beautiful, and fully funcitonal blogging platform. You have so many options from custom code (self hosted) to various plug-ins and templates. It's fully feature rich. Blogger is just Google from 2003. It's still viable but minimally maintained. There's not a lot of user rich stuff there anymore and anything you do custom will only work so much. Given that both are very easy (you could even use wordpress.com) I'd go with WP 100% of the time. There's just no compeling reason to use Blogger.

Both are best but I think, Wordpress is better because many users visit here to get information.

WordPress is generally preferred over blogger because it is user-friendly. One can easily setup a blog / website with the WordPress CMS and start using it right away. WordPress also provides a wide range of plugins, themes and extensions for making the blog efficient and impressive.
