Softaculous offers access to a lot of scripts. That's great. But some of the scripts being offered haven't been updated in 4 or 5 years and are probably dead projects. They may not work with the latest versions of PHP or if they do, they output a lot of errors due to deprecated functions.
Does Softaculous audit the scripts it provides? Does it remove old and outdated scripts from it's library? I'm not sure if it's a good idea to allow for the installation of scripts that are severely outdated and no longer being maintained.
I know as an administrator I can select which scripts to provide. But it's difficult to go through all of the scripts Softaculous provides and determine if that script is being actively maintained.
