Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	I use now the free webuzo on my VPS(OpenVZ). I used before cpanel but is to expensive if you know Linux base. I like very much Webuzo, it move fast, no bug/errors till now and almost everything is simple. But is a must additional security to be implemented for newbies: 1. csf firewall(a better firewall than classic iptables): hxxp://configserver.com/cp/csf.html 2. clamAV(unix antivirus): hxxp://www.clamav.net/lang/en/ 3. mod security(apache security, anti SQL injection): hxxp://www.modsecurity.org/ 4. mod evasive(against HTTP DoS or DDoS attack or brute force attack): hxxp://www.zdziarski.com/blog/?page_id=442 5.rootkit hunter(scan for rootkits): hxxp://www.rootkit.nl/projects/rootkit_hunter.html I've read it here that will be implemented csf firewall ASAP but since is posted should be already done. CSF interface and some other tools that I have shown above are already in most of other cpanel's and that present to users a good confidence and that help sys.admin's for explain to users that security software are installed, most of users first their question is: SECURITY/FIREWALL/ANTIVIRUS/ROOTKIT/DDoS. In my opinion the step with SECURITY is more important that other scripts! If the scripts presented above will be implemented in webuzo I will be the first that I will buy a premium license even if all will be available in free license, from respect and that help us too from answer to a lot of tickets with this question's about security. 10q.
