 Apache does not start, but MySQL does., When Ampps starts, Apache fails to start, but MySQL stays on. (1 Replies, Read 2822 times)

Hi,

Just installed Ampps.

When Ampps gets started, Apache fails to start, but MySQL stays on.

I quit the Ampps control, then I instead tried to execute "l:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\apache\bin\httpd.exe" to get the error box as below:

              Apache HTTP Server
Apache HTTP Server has stopped working

A broblem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

              Debug              Close program
--------------------

Both error.log and access.log are empty.

I'm on Windows 7, 64bit. The command C:\> netstat -aon | findstr 0.0:80 yields nothing.

Hi,

Try to install Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package (x86) ,
http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=29

Please open a ticket for more better support,

Let us know if you still facing the problem.
