Hi,
Currently I am using Vmware esxi for my servers. I might switch to Virtualizor + KVM but got some doubts.
1- I dont see any Windows template.
2- How do you manage ips? Will the WHMCS module manage ips? fr example terminating VPS after due date and automatically adding the ip to the free ip pool?
3- How do you choose the storage? For example if I had 4 hard drives in the server, how does Virtualizor choose the drive for the vps installation? Currently I check read/write latency and free space to choose the drive manually.
4- Its about KVM, but you might know: Any option to disable ip spoofing?
5- Shall I upload templates to each node? I mean when I want to create a vps, will it use the template in the master server or the templates in the slave server? My master might be able in US and the salve in Eu, so I prefer to use templates in salves.
6- I could not find any windows templates in the official website, what about that? If I install Windows myself and make it as template, what about licensing? I want the user to be able to use the trial Windows period.

Thank you

Hi,

>>1- I dont see any Windows template.

We do have windows templates but for that you need to open a support ticket as we cannot provide the links here.

>>2- How do you manage ips? Will the WHMCS module manage ips? fr example
terminating VPS after due date and automatically adding the ip to the
free ip pool?

If you have set auto terminate in WHMCS options then all the VPS resources will be free after termination and will be available for other VPS to use.

>>3- How do you choose the storage? For example if I had 4 hard drives in
the server, how does Virtualizor choose the drive for the vps
installation? Currently I check read/write latency and free space to
choose the drive manually.

Currently virtualizor supports VPS creation based on multiple servers and chooses a storage based on the server, however there is no option to specify on a single server to choose a Hard Drive while VPS creation.

>>4- Its about KVM, but you might know: Any option to disable ip spoofing?

We do have a firewall support, but disabling IP spoofing is not there in virtualizor at the moment.

>>5- Shall I upload templates to each node? I mean when I want to create a

the slave server? My master might be able in US and the salve in Eu, so I

You just need to download the templates on the master server it will be automatically synchronized on all the slave servers.

You can create your windows templates with our GUI tool as well as our command line utility, also you can use a windows trial license in virtualizor.

So how does it work if there were 4 storage for a server? Which one will be selected? The best idea would be checking each storage read/write latency and choose the best one.

So you disable the ip spoofing at KVM level for free?

I know I can use the trial, but after the 180 days, it will be expired. So the customer will receive a VPS with expired license or 180 days trial?

Thanks

Currently this feature is not available in  virtualizor but we will definitely add it in our future releases.

For KVM,XEN and Xenserver we create ebtables rules to prevent IP Spoofing when the VPS is created.

The windows templates we provide are trail versions, the customer will receive a trial version when he creates a VPS with the template. If the customer wants he can activate the license of the VPS provided.

If you have 4 HDD's then you need to add the storage disks to virtualizor panel from which one will be the primary storage and while creating the VPS you can select on which disk you want to create the VPS.

You can follow the guide in the link below to add the storage:

And once the end user wanted to reload the OS, it will be reinstalled on the same storage?

Hi,

You can create template from Admin panel->Media->Create OS template.
But the command-line option will also shrink the OS template size for Windows .

Hi,

You can read the guide once and then try to create template from command-line and check :
