I apologize for being a dummy. I am a beginner trying to learn PHP/mySQL on my home computer using the AMPPS server.
However. each time I get to the point in my programming script where I am suppose to setup and use a database, I can not figure out how to set up the user name and password for the database on the AMPPS server and then I am basically done. Can't go any further.
Please help and thank you in advance as any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
