Hello,

It's not clear for me how to use the "Scripts > Backups" feature in Webuzo. Where do I create a backup? For what? The Softaculous scripts or the result of the scripts (ie. installed apps's directories about binaries and data)?

Let me know.
TIA

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in reply. You can choose backup location when you take backup of any installation.
Refer following guide for backup : https://www.softaculous.com/docs/enduser/how-to-backup-an-installation/
Let us know if you have any further query.

OK, thanks!

So, it's a per app backup and there's no central page listing all the app in a table with a single button to backup all with one click?

Also, I see you take Wordpress as example, but I'm not sure it's representative. On my VPS, I installed some software like Exim, Dovecot, Rainloop, Bind, Nginx, Pure-FTpd, etc... And the only one showing a backup button is Rainloop. For the others app, I have a Remove button, but no current install section with a Backup button. Is it normal?

And last question: I see a warning at top of the Scripts Backups page saying: "You currently have 1 backups in your account. Your maximum backups limit is 3." Is this limit of 3 app backups expected?

OK, I found the answer to the third question about limit of 3 backup. It can be d in Admin panel > Settinsg > Backups > Maximum backups per user limit.

So, it remains the two first questions only.

Hi,

>>So, it's a per app backup and there's no central page listing all the app in a table with a single button to backup all with one click?
In Webuzo we have Webuzo Backup utility which you can use for taking backup of all the installations and their associated databases. You can refer the guide for the same here:
http://www.webuzo.com/docs/endusers/webuzo-backup-and-restore

There is no option provided in Webuzo for taking backup of all the system applications installed on your server. You are able to view backup option for Rainloop because you have installed Rainloop installation on your server. It isn't the default Rainloop webmail client which is provied in Webuzo.

Glad that you were able to find answer for your query. Yes, the warning you got on Scripts Backups page was because the backup limit has already been set in Webuzo admin panel.

Let us know if you have any further queries.

No, I installed Rainloop from Webuzo. I didn't use the default path since I installed it in a directory belonging to a subdomain as you can see in the attached screenshot, but I used the Install button from Webuzo.

In my previous reply, I mean't that Rainloop if installed on your server then you will be able to see the Backup option. Webuzo currently doesn't have backup option for system applications. But we have added this to our to-do list.

Let us know if you have any further suggestions or queries.
