Topic : Changed port, not working??

Hello,
I'm trying to get Ampps to work on my window8 laptop. I changed the apache port that is being used in 88 instead 80 because, port 80 is already in use by "system". But when I am trying tot open the localhost it still isn't working.
It says it can't find the URL, I can see it is looking for:
localhost:80/ampps......but that also should be changed to port 88, where can I change that?
I now only changed the apache config, but I think that is not enough.

Hi,

It is not recommended to change the Apache port if you want to use Softaculous which is an addon feature in Ampps.

Though you can access it like this but manually,
http://localhost:88 or http://localhost:88/ampps

To free port 80, try disabling Webclient/Web Deployment Agent Service/World Wide Web Publishing Service from Services(Run->Services).
