Topic : Lets Encrypt certificates not renewed

Posted By: erile on November 7, 2019, 10:46 pm
Hello,

I have a main domain and some subdomains, each with its Lets Encrypt certificate. My issue that they don't renew by themselves and when I click on Renew by hand it doesn't do it too. I well get a message telling me it will be done in background, but nothing happens: the "Valid Till" date remains the same. Also, the "Next Renew Date" is a past date (eg. see attached screenchot).

/etc/cron.d/lets_encrypt contains this:
Quote
0 0 * * * root /usr/local/emps/bin/php -d disable_functions="" /usr/local/webuzo/cli.php --lets_encrypt --action=renew_all --force=1 >> /dev/null 2>&1

And, of course, I'm with a Premium license.

What's wrong? How to renew the certificates?
Let me know.

TIA

Can you speed up the related ticket please (#152415); too long time between two messages in the ticket's thread. Thanks in advance...

Hi,

Extremely sorry for the inconvenience and delay caused.

Please check the ticket for our reply. The issue was because of outdated acme API used in Webuzo which when updated resolved the issue.

Let us know if you face any issues further.

acme.sh needs to be updated. One way to do this would be

wget -O /usr/local/webuzo/includes/cli/acme.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Neilpang/acme.sh/master/acme.sh && chmod +x /usr/local/webuzo/includes/cli/acme.sh

Hi hostprairie,

Please open a support ticket with us here:
https://softaculous.deskuss.com/open.php

I just did a complete new install of the software on a new server and
let's encrypt doesn't work so fix your buggy software and issue update
to all users not just me. We shouldn't have to create support tickets for something that you advertise as a feature out of the box being broken out of the box on a new software install. Patch your software with the fix.

Hi hostprairie,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We have provided you with the acme file in the ticket you have openedwhich you need to upload on your server and then try installing/revoking Let's Encrypt SSL Certificate on your domain.

Please check and let us know if you still face the issue.
