Hi,

We are working on compatibility of Magento 2 with Windows and LiteSpeed.

We will try to release updated package with the fix soon.

Hello I was wondering I noticed that it states cant install on windows. The other versions had no issue installing on windows. I was wondering and hoping there would be a solution. Should I duel boot my machine with linux and than redownload?

Here is a list of how to do it with wamp on windows

Ampps is a far superior product but I work on magento stuff on windows. Please provide a solution to this.

*facepalm* okay so seconds after I posted that I saw your reply from yesterday "Hi,

Under PHP 5.6 I tried installing it, it keeps on loading the file forever. When I refresh the page to try again it says after trying ton install. Can't Install Magento 2 on Windows.

What needs to be done to allow me to have it installed?

Any news on the update? Just installed it. Does the CRON problem still persist?

Hi,

The CRON issue should be resolved.

Are you still facing the issue of CRON not being added ?

The cron was added. I've checked with the support desk of A2 hosting and they confirmed it's running. But no re-indexing does occur. Any suggestions?

Just installed Magento 2.0.2 from Softaculous but still have issues.
When logged into admin area I get this from main screen as shown in attachment.

Also, when checking in cPanel I see the cron is added, but still wrong:
11,21,30,53    *    *    *    *    php /home/username/public_html/magento2/bin/magento cron:run > /dev/null

It should be added as this:
11,21,30,53    *    *    *    *    php-cli /home/username/public_html/magento2/bin/magento cron:run > /dev/null

Why is this not fixed yet?

Hi,

We will make the changes for CRON command to add php-cli instead of php and release the updated package by Monday.

I can't believe you get that far, my software can't even detect the correct version of PHP and my pleas for help go unanswered.  Fat chance it'll work, good luck though, at least you got a response here.  It's probably a bug that will never be addressed like my issue of softaculous not even being able to identify the version of PHP you have installed.

Sorry for the delay in response.
