Topic : cron job command not working in webuzo

hello guest,
neet some help. i create cron job file using webuzo like this

exec("find /home/admin/www/asset/avatar/dummy -type f -exec chmod 0755 {} +");

exec('rm -rf /home/admin/www/asset/avatar/dummy/*');


if i run using SSH its working with this command
php -q /home/admin/www/asset/avatar/clear_dummy.php

but if i insert the command to webuzo cron joblike its not working. this is the command in webuzo cron job i had try :

i had open ticket but its so long to reply.

Hi,
i am not expert in Cron jobs but if the Cron job are not correct will sure not work.

I use Cron Jobs on Webuzo and all is working.

Hi,

There is no such thing as CRON is not working, it's a system level utility which always runs no matter what the conditions are.

The main issue with CRON jobs are the permissions and the ownership of the file you want to execute and what's it's trying to do.

So anybody who faces an issue with CRON should execute the CRON via SSH as a Webuzo user and not a ROOT user(this is the most common mistake most of the users do as the CRON entered via Webuzo always runs as Webuzo user who is an unprivileged user)
