Topic : I forget my ampps web password

I install ampps last year on my macbook; and using a local copy of wordpress. I would like to add other package but forget my web password for either root or soft user. The forget password link does not seems to be working in my case (I may not put in a valid mail address at initial installation). Any way that I can reset the password by editing config file ?

Hi,

Please delete the file /Applications/AMPPS/ampps/data/passwd and then check whether it solved the problem or not.

Let us know if you still facing the problem.
