Topic : softaculous ftp path files to download

please post the correct path(s) and all files needed, in the cpanel directory, to FTP download a ONE complete primary or addon domain install, like we'd get if we clicked the blue arrow at the "Download Backup" page. (which would then be downloaded by whatever browser we're using. sometimes my Firefox fails and i have to start all over again. my primary is 1.2G and it's a pain!!!!!!!!!!!!

i asked you this once about a year ago, when i was a newbie, you answered mentioning several files and different directories for just ONE softaculous install. when i just asked my hosting company they said it's only one file in softaculous_backups. i'm sure you mentioned a ".?????" something file too!

thank you
TA

Hi,

The tar.gz file downloaded by clicking the download button is the full backup of your installation.

It was needed to download the backup info file from .softaculous folder earlier however now it is not required. It is included in the tar.gz itself.

We have deleted the previous attachment.

thank you FTP is much better for my primary domain which is 1.2G. heck, i didn't think of this until now, i have 40 sites installed in my softaculous system. it takes a long time to click the blue arrow on each site. can i download ALL installs, primary and 39 add-on domains all at once via FTP from home/user/softaculous_backups? this would really save a lot of time for me!

thank you!
TA

Hi,

I am not sure what exactly you require. If you want to download all the backups via FTP, you can login to your server using any FTP client and then download all the files to your desktop.
