Ampps not starting

Ampps not starting, Ampps not starting after double clicking on desktop shortcut (3 Replies, Read 6406 times)

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 1 Status:	I'm new to Ampps and this support board. I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. I installed ampps intending to develop a wordpress.org website offline for my brother-in-law's business. After the initial installation I faced port 80 problems. I fixed that. Then I closed the ampps application to go to bed. Came back the next day and tried to start ampps by double clicking on the desktop shortcut...nothing. The dashboard with the different tabs never appeared. I tried it again by going to start->all programs->ampps->clicking on ampps icon. Nothing. I did my best to uninstall (not sure if I completely removed everything in this uninstall but did it through control panel->programs and features->ampps 3.3->uninstall) and reinstall ampps. I clicked finish on the installer with the checkbox to "start ampps after install finish" checked. Nothing. Please help! I really want to get going on my project!
