Topic : qemu-guest-agent.service has failed

:squi: After the last virtualizor update I came across an error, with the information that guest-agent was not installed on the VMs, and with that and I can't see the amount of memory used in each VM. I followed the steps to install the CentOS7 guest-agent, I see the guest-agent installed inside the VM, but in the virtualizor panel everything continues as before, with the information that it is not installed: Ram : Guest agent not installed.

I have an open support ticket, but it seems that if I wait for Virtualizor support, the war in Ukraine will end and they still haven't solved my problem. :-(

Hi,

Did you enable Guest Agent from panel and then stopped and started it ?

You will also need to run cronm on that server which is hosting the VPS so that it can fetch it instantly.

/usr/local/emps/bin/php /usr/local/virtualizor/scripts/cronm.php

I have an open support ticket

Do I have to create a cron task for this?

/usr/local/emps/bin/php /usr/local/virtualizor/scripts/cronm.php

or is the command executed only once and does it only from then on?

Hi,

It runs every 8 minutes, no need to add any cron job for that.

Can the minutes be reduced?
