Topic : Database Not Created / WHMCS / Softaculous / WP

Posted By: studio57designs on March 24, 2013, 5:58 pm
Hello,

We had our system up and running on a different server.  But, we've moved to a new VPS and now I'm having an issue.

1. When I run WHMCS through an order, the order is created, the account is setup on the server and all files seem to be good.

2. But, I am getting this message on the confirmation page - from the debug:  The following errors occured :
a:1:{i:0;s:54:"Could not open the Configuration File .htaccess";}

3. The database is not being created.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Louise

Hi,

Sir it seems that the package is not downloaded properly on your server. Which script are you facing the issue with ?
Please delete the script package on the destination server.
For eg: If you are using WordPress delete :
Code
/var/softaculous/wp/

and then execute the CRON command :
http://softaculous.com/docs/Immediate_update

Also if you still face the issue please execute the following command on your server :
Code
root> chmod -R 0755 /var/softaculous/

Brijesh,

I executed both commands on the server and that did not fix the problem.  I am still getting the same message:

The following errors occured : a:1:{i:0;s:54:"Could not open the Configuration File .htaccess";}

I will open a support ticket if you need access.  Let me know.  We are supposed to go live with the site tomorrow or Wednesday.

Hi,

Sir the support team has resolved your issue.
The issue was because you were configuring an empty .htaccess file.
