Hi jevingal,

Are you able to login via ssh? ---- No, I manage xenserver via vsphere client.

What was the installation command used to install xenserver (XCP).

./install.sh email=address.mail@mail.com kernel=xenserver lvg=Volume_name repo_size=100

With kernel=xcp I cannot install .. it says, error with repo_size.

For installing Xenserver you will need to specify kernel=xcp only, otherwise it will install the default kernel which is OpenVZ.
How much repo_size did you specify ?
Also is there any free space in your VG for creating LVs?

Thanks for this information, I did not know.

How much repo_size did you specify ?  ------------- The same size, 100.

Also is there any free space in your VG for creating LVs? ---------- Look at here.

Oups.. sorry , I did not find edit button for my reply.
Also is there any free space in your VG for creating LVs? ---------- yes my VG size has 141.99 GB and available 133 GB.
How I can install virtualizor with kernel=xcp ?

Hi,

You can uninstall Virtualizor :

service virtualizor stop
rm -rf /usr/local/emps
rm -rf /usr/local/virtualizor
rm -rf /var/virtualizor

and then install it with proper command:

./install.sh email=Actual-email-address kernel=xcp lvg=Your-Volume-Group-Name repo_size=100

If you still face any issue then please open a support ticket and we will check and solve the issue:

Hi everybody,
Sorry for my bad english :)

I managed to install virtualizor with kernel xcp, so the problem was the vfree space in vg that was full, and the storage type wasn't in lvm. Here is the exchange with softaculous support.

Support:

Please provide output of below command: vgs

Me:

Here is output command:
VG                                                                                                            #PV #LV #SN Attr  VSize VFree
XSLocalEXT-87846158-03a3-b2e4-0d8a-b2180476745f          1      0 wz--n- 141,99G    0

So in output command, I see VFree which is marked 0.. but VSize has

141.99G..

It seems there is no free space in vg to create repository.

Can you please check if there is any lv created: lvscan

If it doesnt has data, please remove the lv and try reinstalling Virtualizor.

Me:
Quote
the lvscan output command:

inactive
'/dev/XSLocalEXT-87846158-03a3-b2e4-0d8a-b2180476745f/87846158-03a3-b2e4-0d8a-b2180476745f'
[141.99 GB] inherit

the lv hasn't data, I removed and tried reinstall virtualizor but it return the same error regarding REPO_SIZE

ERROR: Repository size - could not create repository du to following error.

Sir you are using ext storage but we need lvm storage.

Convert the storage to lvm and carry the installation there will be no such issue.

Me:

Why you say I'm using external storage?
